About

The Coalition for Hanover’s Future (CHF) is a citizen-based organization dedicated to protecting and preserving the land, history, and environment of Hanover County, Virginia.

We seek to educate citizens about land use issues and to encourage them to make their voices heard on planning cases. Citizen stakeholders are a vital part of land use planning and deserve a place at the table for decisions that ultimately affect their quality of life in Hanover County.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

For more information, please contact CHF’s Chairperson, Pattie Bland (pattiebland[at]gmail.com).

  1. It’s great to have this county update. I work with Capital Region Land Conservancy and Hanover is one of my priority areas.

Feel free to contact me should you think that there is an opportunity for collaboration.

  2. I read the article in the Times Dispatch today about Giles Farm. I realize Craney Island has been opposing using Cudlip as an access road to the new huge neighborhood. Do we still think this could be used as a main road as people will want to get off 295 and cut through our neighborhood, which will change the character of our neighborhood too…too much traffic to walk, ride bikes, go from back to front of our community? Will there be any policies or will they just let this happen? Thanks for letting me know what you think. Linda

  3. Will you post when the Tea Party meeting is going to be held concerning Agenda 21? I think as many people should go as possible because it is important to know what is being said in order to know how to respond.

  4. Please add me to the list
