October 8: the Board of Supervisors voted to deny an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan to alter the Atlee-Elmont and Elmont Small Area Plans (SAPs), by increasing housing densities and adding more commercial along Cedar Lane (Rte. 623) between Holly Hill Road and Washington Hwy. (Rte. 1). If you recall, the Planning Commission unanimously denied this amendment on August 21s.
