Summer Workshops!

The Virginia Conservation Network and the Virginia League of Conservation Voters – Education Fund is hosting summer workshops for their Legislative Contact Team program. This exciting program trains volunteers to become primary citizen contacts for legislators regarding a collective conservation agenda.

This summer, trainings will focus on “Bridging the Gap: Conservation as a Local, State and Federal Priority.”

WHEN: 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. Dinner is provided.

July 8: Richmond, YWCA
July 15: Warrenton, Warrenton’s Visitor Center

: Arlington, Arlington Central Library
July 22
: Norfolk, Ernie Morgan Center, Norfolk Zoo
July 24: Roanoke, Roanoke Higher Education Center

July 29
: South Boston, The Prizery Arts Center

Land Use and Transportation
Bipartisan Redistricting

Who Should Attend?
Please invite your senator, delegate, and your local elected officials to come along and individuals who wish to learn how to communicate the environment as a priority to their elected officials.
